Summary

The prodigal alpha returns from the navy to a whole new sea of trouble。。。

Aspen Grove left his pack to ensure its future, and his own。 After ten years in the navy, his father is dead, his brother is pack alpha, and he’s ready to return。 But does the pack he turned his back on still have a place for him so many years later?

Brook Morgan has seen the dark side of alpha wolves—their violence, their brutality, their greed。 He has only taken the first small steps toward recovery when Aspen Grove, the alpha who stole his heart then abandoned it ten years ago, returns to Grovetown。 Thank the moon he can lose himself in video games and put the only alpha he'd ever wanted out of mind for good。

After abandoning his rightful place in the Grove pack, Aspen is struggling to find where he fits in, but when the feral wolves who tormented Brook return looking for more trouble, he has to protect his home, and his mate, or risk losing them both forever。

Hunter Moon is a second-chance, childhood sweethearts romantic wolfish romp featuring one misplaced navy alpha, a mechanic who’s better with cars and video games than with people, and enough apple butter to soothe all woes, in a non-mpreg ABO world。

The story somewhat inter laps with the previous one Harvest Moon。 Aspen comes home and we learn what he has been thru。 Brook’s story was so much more though, he had been waiting for his mate and Alpha to come back for him。 Brook’s, Aspens family and the town feel betrayed by Aspen’s leaving with no word and Aspen feels he must make amends to everyone。 He works hard to get Brook’s trust back。 Each of these stories get better and better! I have such a hard time putting them down! Brook was still in love of Aspen even if he never connect him and left him believing he wasn’t important。 Both Aspen and Brook still care of each other and they have a strong connection, Aspen was trying to be in any capacity for Brook, he wants to be forgiven and show Brook that he was really staying in town and be mates。 I like how they rekindled their relationship and slowly they start trusting each other’s, Brooks was a great character so strong for a omega and really brave when he was dealing with his trauma and the arrival of a new treat in town。 Aspen was so good for him giving him space and helping him when he is ask。 Both start healing and with time they will be together and finally together。 I was happy for Aspen and Brook's HEA and I can’t wait for the next book!!I received an arc of this book and this is my honest review! 。。。more

BridgesAfter meeting Aspen in Harvest Moon, I formed strong opinions about this man and was expecting to have a hate/love vibe—heavy on the former—while reading his journey。 While there was a bit of that because ngl he can be frustratingly unaware, Aspen surprised me with how hard he worked to earn back trust and forgiveness。 In fact, the sum of his actions—though two stood out—made me solidly fall head over tails for him。 “This was home in a way nothing else ever had been, ever could be。” Brook BridgesAfter meeting Aspen in Harvest Moon, I formed strong opinions about this man and was expecting to have a hate/love vibe—heavy on the former—while reading his journey。 While there was a bit of that because ngl he can be frustratingly unaware, Aspen surprised me with how hard he worked to earn back trust and forgiveness。 In fact, the sum of his actions—though two stood out—made me solidly fall head over tails for him。 “This was home in a way nothing else ever had been, ever could be。” Brook *heart eyes to infinity* has me in awe。 I’m amazed by everything about him; his strength, resilience, kindness, courage, there’s nothing about him I don’t love。 He’s an incredible person and I would buy him bread pudding for life if I could。 Seeing him and Aspen together, whether cuddling, talking or nnngh, together they’re fire。 With tons of feels, action, and villainous intent, combined with an irresistible pack, you’ll be hard pressed to put this book down once you open it。 。。。more

4。5 Stars!I remember seeing an early review of this book and the first line of that review was "Aspen's good at grovelling" and there have been no truer words typed。 Lol!You see all those second chance romances flying around? Well, toss then out because this is was a masterclass。As we've been told all throughout the previous books in this series, Aspen left the pack some 10 odd years ago。 His leaving hurt a LOT of people, most importantly of whom was Brook, his lover/mate so you can imagine all 4。5 Stars!I remember seeing an early review of this book and the first line of that review was "Aspen's good at grovelling" and there have been no truer words typed。 Lol!You see all those second chance romances flying around? Wow!!! This book was good! I actually felt sorry for Aspen for wanting to do the right thing but being so clumsy about it。 He needs to make amends before he will be totally accepted by the pack。 He needs even more to make peace with Brook。 Plus Broke still needs to do some more healing because of his trauma。 As if that is not enough, the Reid’s are still trying to cause trouble。 I finished reading this book in five hours。

I have loved this series so far and was excited to see Brooke and Aspen’s story at last。 These authors know how to write some awesome characters that we can fall in love with。 We know about Aspen until that scene in the last book is that he up and left the pack without telling anyone where he was going or why and never came back。 It left everyone feeling betrayed but no one as much as his brother Linden and his fated mate Brooke。 Aspen knew he wasn’t the best choice for alpha, but he couldn’t te I have loved this series so far and was excited to see Brooke and Aspen’s story at last。 These authors know how to write some awesome characters that we can fall in love with。 We know about Aspen until that scene in the last book is that he up and left the pack without telling anyone where he was going or why and never came back。 It left everyone feeling betrayed but no one as much as his brother Linden and his fated mate Brooke。 Aspen knew he wasn’t the best choice for alpha, but he couldn’t tell that to his traditional father。 Now he is back, unsure of how welcome he will be。 Brooke is torn。 He has been through hell and hasn’t really gotten himself back together yet。 The Reid’s are still sniffing around and it keeps him on constant edge。 These two have to figure out how to heal each other and rebuild the trust that has been shattered。 These two broke my heart but also made me smile。 Brooke needs Aspen to be strong and stay; he needs his strength to feel whole again and to face what has happened。 Aspen has to earn everyone’s trust back and figure out his place in the pack。 He knows he screwed up, even if he had good intentions。 This is a book about healing, forgiveness, and finding strength in chosen pack and family。 I loved it! I am anxious to get Dante’s story next。 He helped Brooke escape the Reid’s and deserves his own shot at a place in a healthy pack。 。。。more
